Life has been a little busy...but I have a quick minute to jot down some memories from our mini-Christmas vacation this year before I forget them all!
We began our long drive to Tennessee the day after Christmas. The boys both took little naps during our day of driving.
Once we arrived at the resort Trey couldn't wait to visit the water park. Trey loved floating and swimming and riding the waves in the wave pool! Xavier has turned into a water-loving baby and had a great time exploring and splashing in the water.
One of the mornings we headed to Gatlinburg to a pancake house recommended by several people at work. Trey loved his Smokey the Bear pancakes.
And after breakfast we enjoyed a hike through one of the trails in the Smokies to a waterfall.
Trey & Chas even tried out one of the multi-level go cart tracks.
Trey was extra-cautious and reminding Chas of all the "rules" of the go-carts the whole time they were driving. This is a good sign that he can listen to rules and follow them (if only this would apply all the time at home too!).
