Backyard Oasis

After five years of living in this home we have finally added the perfect touch to our backyard! We started with a lot of grass that we would eat on every night during the summer - talking about how we should have a patio poured so we could be on cement and not on the grass. And wishing we didn't have to move all the patio furniture every time we mowed the lawn.

Then a few weekends ago our patio forms were laid out...

The cement was poured and stamped...

And finally the stone was laid into the fire pit. We put all our furniture onto the patio and are amazed at how beautiful it turned out in the end - we never pictured this in our wildest dreams. This was a much anticipated and appreciated project after waiting for so long. We are anxiously awaiting our daily dinners outdoors as the weather starts to cooperate - we can't wait to unwind and relax once again in our new and improved backyard!

Chas even lit our first fire the other night - yay!
