State Road Sledding

A few weeks ago Chas & Trey went sledding at my childhood sledding hill by State Road Pool. Chas would not let me participate - so I gladly sat in the warm car with some hot cocoa, took some pictures, and enjoyed watching all the families come to the hill to enjoy some sledding time together (it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling to think families still enjoy activities together like sledding).

In the beginning Trey tried to walk up the hill by himself with some assistance from Chas...as time went on Trey would hop on the sled and Chas would pull him up the hill (Chas got a great work out that day!).




Trey loves all things fast - so sledding is naturally right up his alley. He couldn't get enough of sailing down the hill all by himself.

The look of joy on his face at the bottom of the hill makes me smile every time I see this picture. Once when he landed at the bottom of the hill he paused, pumped his fists into the air, and shouted, "Score!" Seeing Trey go down this hill makes me really excited for summer so Trey can ride all those roller coasters he loves so much again!
