Time to Ride

A couple of weekends ago we took the boys to one of our favorite places for some weekend rides: The Memphis Kiddie Park.  Trey loved these rides when he was little and still loves the roller coaster (as he has outgrown most of the other rides there).

We were excited to get Xavier on track to be a ride loving kid like his big brother.  We like to groom our kids early to love rides so when they're old enough they'll love to ride the big roller coasters with us. 

We first tried Xavier on something mild...the little airplanes that raise up and spin around.  Trey couldn't help himself and wanted to ride too!  He loves showing his little brother the ropes.

We tried the bumpy cars next.  I think was Xavier's favorite.  He laughed whenever the worker spun him around.  Whenever we tried to walk away from it he would turn around and point and walk right back to it again for another ride.

Trey rode it with him later that night.

They laughed and laughed at each other as their cars bumped along.

They loved riding together.  I was surprised Trey wanted to ride these little rides and not just the roller coaster the whole time. 

We ended the day with some snacks from the snack bar before heading home to put two tuckered out boys to sleep.
