Big Boy Haircut

Xavier had his first haircut on April 15 -  just a few weeks after he turned one.  This was incredibly early compared to Trey who was still practically bald when he turned one and didn't get his little curls cut until he was well over two years old.

Alas, Xavier's hair grew faster than Trey's and not as curly and he had quite the long hair growing in the back that warranted an early haircut for our little baby boy.

I dreaded this haircut knowing as soon as it was finished he would look like a big boy.  This intuition held true and he did look so much bigger once the scissors took off his long locks in the back.

He didn't sit still for us to get the front - which is still considerably shorter than the back.  Maybe that hair will get a trim in a few months when I'm ready to give into the fact once again that my little baby boy is growing up.  Until then he is rocking his big boy haircut.
