More Candy than Halloween

Where is the only place you can get as much candy as you do on Halloween but without all the walking???  A 4th of July parade of course!

Trey was all ready this year...we even brought a much bigger bag after knowing how much candy he collected last year.

Chas & Xavier were all set to watch the parade.

Xavier sat perfectly still for the hour we stayed at the parade.  He couldn't get enough of the cars, trucks, animals, and people walking down the street.  His face says it all!

And of course Trey walked away with fist fulls of candy after each passing group.

This is our second year attending the parade and we love this tradition.  Next year will be exciting to see Xavier out there collecting candy with all the big kids.
