Halloween Party

Hillside's annual preschool Halloween party was yesterday. This year marked Trey's third Halloween party he's attended at Hillside - it is amazing how quickly the years have gone! For this party Chas picked up Trey & his friend Maddie from daycare before the party. He told me an intriguing story about the humor and inside jokes of toddlers...when they were both riding in the back of the car one would randomly scream a word (such as "school bus" even though no school bus was around) and then they would laugh hysterically at each other until someone else screamed another word.

While at the preschool party Trey had lots of fun with his friends - they all even formed their own little daycare "click" when it was lunch time. You can see how they all wanted to sit with each other just like at school.

After lunch Trey got to go trick-or-treating to all the different classrooms.

Trey even got into the parachute action in the gym - ahhh the childhood memories (to see this video make sure to visit http://www.threeiscompanytoo.blogspot.com/).

And after the parachute he played catch with a balloon...until he pounced on it and it popped.

After the party Trey & Maddie came back to our house to take a nap. Given two toddlers who like to laugh and talk to each other you can only guess that very little napping took place. At one point Chas said he yelled up the stairs, "Go to sleep" and Trey yelled back, "I am sleeping Daddy!" Oh how I wish I could have witnessed that event - as much as you want to be upset - you can't help but smile and laugh at the cuteness of it all! You can tell by this picture that Trey & Maddie did not look tired at all!
