A Harry Halloween

Trey has known what he has wanted to be for Halloween since July. This summer we decided we needed a nice, long book on CD to keep us entertained for the long drive to Williamsburg. Since we knew the last Harry Potter movie would be out in part this fall we decided to "reread" the last book in the series to fill the hours of driving.

After listening to about half of it during the drive there and back - we were inspired to watch all the movies once again... Trey joined us in watching parts of the movies and he loved them all! After watching pieces of the movies Trey would do random made-up spells around the house using a pencil as a magic wand.

We would randomly ask him what he wanted to be for Halloween after that and his response was always the same: Harry Potter.

So Trey finally has his Gryffindor robe, Harry glasses, and his pencil magic wand (as always) and is ready for trick-or-treating this weekend.

In these glasses we also can't help but notice that Trey happens to look a little like the chipmunk Simon :-) Maybe we'll have to talk him into that for next year...
