Happy Birthday Hubby!

Chas's birthday is on Monday and for over a year (or maybe its been two...) Chas has requested a tattoo for his birthday. He originally wanted to get a really small III to represent Trey on his arm. I have been putting off going to a tattoo parlor for a while hoping he would really think about it (I mean...it is permanent). When he hadn't mentioned it all summer or fall I thought the idea had faded and he had decided against it.

Around October/November the idea resurfaced again and I realized that it was time (and it worked out to be a great birthday present idea too since I'm normally out of ideas with Christmas being so close). The day after Christmas we headed to a tattoo parlor and Chas got his first tattoo.


The guy who designed it really took Chas's idea and designed an amazing tattoo that neither of us could have come up with on our own.

I can't even imagine how much it hurt - but Chas said once he finished the outline it was so numb he really didn't feel anything. When I asked Chas if he thought I could ever get it done he just laughed and said no - he definitely knows me!
