We woke him up the morning of his birthday bright and early for school. As is customary for every morning he complained that it was too early and that he wanted to sleep more. However, as soon as we mentioned he had a present waiting for him downstairs, he hopped out of bed, dressed himself faster than he ever has before, and ran down the stairs to find his present.
After school we took Trey to the Memphis Kiddie Park to celebrate. He rode the roller coaster over and over and over again!
We stopped for a Happy Meal and then had a mini party with a brownie & some candles.
That Saturday Trey's celebrated with his friends from school at a local bowling alley. This was by far the easiest party we've ever thrown (the house was a cluttered mess and all I had to do was show up at the bowling alley with a cake and some favors and no cleaning at all!).
After bowling everyone ate pizza and ice-cream cake and opened presents.
It is hard to believe this little bouncing baby boy...
...has become this young man...
We are so proud.
