Fall Fun at the Farm

This weekend we managed to pack a lot into two short days.  Saturday we traveled to Pittsburgh for the day to see Wicked.  After seeing it two years ago when it came through Cleveland we couldn't wait until it came close enough for us to make a day trip to see it a second time.  It was even better a second time around!

Sunday we decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and headed to Mapleside Farm to enjoy some fall festivities.  Trey donned his Captain America costume to take part in Superhero Weekend at the farm.  We headed down the slide on the big hill to the bouncy castle at the bottom and the huge corn maze.

After making it out of the corn maze we climbed back up the hill to the bouncy blob.

After jumping on the blob Chas & Trey climbed a hay stack.

We picked out apples for apple week at Trey's school and enjoyed a delicious apple dumpling (I love the seasonal food this time of the year).  We finally ended our day with the cow tractor ride.  Xavier was so excited to ride in a cow...or at least that is what I interpret his smile to mean!

Trey & Chas had a great time bouncing around in the cow together. 

We had a great day at the farm!  Now we can't wait to head back to ONU next weekend for some homecoming festivities with the boys!
