9 Months Enjoying the World

Xavier is 9 months old today.  It is amazing what Xavier became in 9 short months inside the womb and it is even more amazing how much he has learned in the extremely short months since he's been born.


He LOVES climbing on all the furniture and "furniture cruising" as his doctor called it.  He always looks so proud when he's getting up (and he also looks like he's going to be up to no good too...).

Xavier had his 9 month appointment yesterday and measured a whole 28.5 inches (a growth of 2 inches!) and is the 75th percentile for height but he is a little lightweight: 19 lbs. 3 oz. and in the 25th percentile.  The doctor said to pack in the carbs to get some weight gain for the little man which is a good thing since the only finger foods he likes and doesn't gag on are carbs like french fries, pancakes, and bread.

These last 9 months have been a blessing with our newest little boy in the house.  I can't wait for Xavier to experience his first Christmas in just a few short days!
