Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

We have been slowly working on getting our house all decked out for the holidays.  We started with outside lights in early November when the weekends were mild and warm (we did wait until after Thanksgiving to actually turn them on). 

And the weekend before Thanksgiving we put up our tree.  Xavier loved exploring all the branches and the lights.

I still love his little turkey butt in his Thanksgiving outfit as he's getting into mischief!

Trey couldn't wait to put up the garland and ornaments on the tree.  He patiently waited for days until we finally had the time to finish decorating the tree.

Once we were done we snapped one of the first family pictures we've had taken in a while in front of it.  I never realized how hard it is to get 2 kids to cooperate and smile at the same time...I can't imagine how hard it would be with any more than two :-)

We have been so excited for this holiday season to begin and watch Xavier see Christmas unfold before his little baby eyes!  It has been such a joy!
