Car Travel with a Toddler

I love driving in the car with Trey. He always has a comment for everything and keeps me constantly laughing with what he is able to notice about the world around him (I still have no clue where he picks up some of the things he notices).

While doing some errands yesterday we were stopped at a red light. Out of nowhere Trey shouts from his seat, "We need a green light to go MOMMY!" When it happened on our way home from the zoo earlier in the week I thought it was a fluke - now I know he is definitely onto something. I'm wondering if he learned this from his dad...

That same day - while travelling the hills of West Ridgewood - he puts his hands up in the air and says, "Mommy, my hands are up - I'm on a ride!" This of course is what Chas taught Trey on all the rides at Williamsburg. What a light in my day - these are just two memories that make me constantly smile and that I do not want to forget!
