Celebrating Six

Friday Chas & I celebrated our six year anniversary. We headed to Columbus and tried a local Mexican restaurant for lunch. Trey is becoming our new photographer (since he steals the camera every chance he gets) and snapped this picture of us before getting 20 more of random items in the restaurant. I think there is a digital camera in Trey's future for his birthday :-)

Later that night at my sister's rehearsal dinner Trey & Papa had a little too much fun with the pasta at dinner. Moments like these can only be created by my dad and Trey!


Looking back at this past year I realize how lucky I am to have these two wonderful men in my life. Trey is a blessing and everyday I realize how lucky we are to have him. Chas is one of the most supportive people I know and I can't believe how much the events we face year after year make us closer and stronger as a family.

As Chas and I reflected back six years ago we couldn't help but realize how we seemed to barely know each other on our wedding day compared to now - the challenges we've faced and the happy moments we've shared have created an even stronger bond than either of us could have hoped for or imagined six years ago.
