Great Wolf Weekend

Last weekend we headed over to Sandusky to try out one of the indoor waterparks that we've been meaning to get ourselves to for a few years now. We tried out Great Wolf Lodge since we've heard it is geared toward younger kids because it doesn't have the huge slides that Kalahari does in its waterpark.

As soon as we arrived and showed Trey the waterpark he couldn't wait to change into his trunks and get into the water. He loved playing basketball in the pool.


With all the slides and play areas at the waterpark - his favorite thing to do was to simply swim in the pool. He loved to swim back and forth and back and forth and race with Chas & I.

Chas even managed to get a picture of my baby belly in my maternity swimsuit - I never thought I'd get any use out of it this pregnancy :-)

Saturday night we headed to the lobby before bedtime for Trey to see the little show and bedtime story. He loved sitting on his pillow pet while waiting for the show to start.

The next day we were right back in the pool. This trip was amazing because we got to watch Trey become stronger and braver in the water - he finally will float on his back! We're thinking some winter swim lessons are in order after his success on this trip!
