Trey's Thankful Turkey

Trey brought home some "homework" last week. He needed to fill in feathers on a turkey with things he was thankful for in his life. I tried to explain grateful as things in his life that he feels happy to have and that he enjoys and feels lucky to be able to do.

The following is a list of things Trey is thankful for (I love this list...it is soooo Trey):
1. Candy
2. Watching TV & movies
3. Coloring
4. Playing & Winning Games (he LOVES to win)
5. Swinging on his swing set
6. Cuddling on the couch with a blanket and mommy & daddy
7. Reading books with mommy & daddy
8. His new brother or sister
9. Building Lego's

This is the turkey we finally created - Trey gave up on coloring after he colored the turkey's head and legs leaving Chas & I to pick up the coloring slack.

I will have to remember to ask Trey every year to list the things he is thankful for in his life to see how it changes year after year.
