A couple of Sundays ago (when we actually had some beautiful weather) we headed to the zoo for Xavier's first visit. A ton of the animals were actually awake and Trey really enjoyed just sitting and watching the animals instead of hopping from exhibit to exhibit.
We took the tram over to visit the seals and polar bears. One of the bears actually dove into the water (usually they're just sleeping on the rocks...) and it was all Trey could talk about for the rest of the day!
We also stopped at the camels to get a glimpse of them before they start shedding all that winter fur and start looking a little sketchy.
And did little Xavier see any of this? Of course not...he slept peacefully in his stroller the whole time (something Trey never seemed to do...). But I definitely think he enjoyed getting outside and into the fresh air!
