Breakfast with Santa

Saturday morning we took Trey to Breakfast with Santa. Chas made a minor mistake of telling Trey Santa would be there and freaked him out. Trey has a phobia of seeing Santa in person...Santa in concept is awesome to him (he is always talking about how much Santa will love our decorations, how Santa will put presents under the tree...) but the thought of seeing Santa live and in the flesh freaks him out.

Trey started off fine at breakfast. Santa sat behind us and Trey loved turning around and looking at him and waving to him.

But when it came time for Trey to actually see Santa and sit on his lap Trey once again discovered his phobia and clung to us the whole time. Chas was able to get Trey in front of Santa as long as he sat with Trey.

Of course Trey was not scared to take his goodie bag from Santa. He REALLY wanted this holiday cube.

And I couldn't help but take Trey's annual picture in our Santa hat - he is such a ham!
