Christmas Eve this year was full of laughs, traditions, and funny stories. Trey started off the night by putting Baby Jesus in the manger after church. He looked so handsome all dressed up in his suit - he can't wear this often enough!

Once dinner was ready we all sat down to eat. Stephanie found the history of the oplatky in the envelope and read it to everyone (you can tell we're all so interested) :-)
After dinner Trey opened his new PJ's - his Big Brother scrubs. After changing into his jammies he sat down and wrote his Christmas List to Santa. Each piece of paper consisted of a different hand written item in binary code (they were really all written with 1's and 0's) and Trey's name written at the bottom. After writing his Christmas list, Trey put out milk and cookies for Santa by the tree and was all ready to read The Night Before Christmas.

After Trey was all tucked in, "Santa" put all the presents underneath the tree, stuffed the stockings, ate some cookies, and drank the milk.

After the presents were all placed under the tree the adults did our gag gift exchange. We had lots of laughs seeing what each person's idea of a gag gift was as we opened the presents. I think this exchange might just have to be an annual tradition now :-)
