Visit the Largest Indoor Water Park...CHECK

Last winter we visited Great Wolf Lodge and ever since then we'd been wondering how Kalahari compared to it.  Chas's work had a deal too good to pass up so we booked our room and headed west to Sandusky to experience the largest indoor water park.

What we discovered was that there was no comparing Great Wolf Lodge to Kalahari - it was instantly massive from the parking lot and left us excited to get inside.  Once in our room we all changed - Xavier even got into his huge swim diaper with a cute little cover up.

Trey couldn't wait to get into the wave pool and practice floating and swimming.  He also loved when we would sit him on top of an inner tube and then he would slide down and into the water - when he would bob his head up he had the best giggle!

After a full day of swimming we had a great time enjoying a popcorn snack before bed.

And the next morning was filled with even more water slides.  I think it is hilarious how much convincing we had to do to get Trey to try out some of the bigger slides...but once he tried them out he couldn't get enough of them!  These tube slides were two of his favorites!

Xavier even had a great time...SLEEPING!  He touched his toes in the water a few times - but his favorite activity to do this weekend was sleep.  It was loud and hot inside the water park which combined to make the perfect sleeping environment for our little man.
