How to Get Cool

Memorial Day provided some great (hot) weather this year to head out of the house and to the zoo.  Our elephants are finally back in their newly built home and we headed right to them to see what they would do.  We watched one of them eat, throw some mud on himself, and drink some water.  Chas & Trey even stopped for a picture with one in the background.

Xavier even woke up during this visit to see some animals and pose for a picture when we stopped for a picnic lunch at the top of the hill.

Once we arrived back home Trey wanted to get cool quickly so we busted out the sprinkler.  Trey had a great time running through it to cool off.  Then we remembered we had a slip-n-slide somewhere in the garage.  Chas set it up Trey was all about sliding down it.  Chas even got in on the front yard sliding action.  It was a great way to spend a hot day!
