An Outing with Mommy

Last Friday I gathered up the boys and we ventured out to the Children's Museum.  I had taken Trey to play there about a year and a half ago and I thought he would enjoy another visit.

He still loved the grocery store.  He loved shopping, checking out, and then putting away all the groceries.  He also loved checking out the other kids and being behind the counter.

Trey also had a great time playing at the water table.  We would build a "road" for the water and boat to follow and then released the flow of water to push the boat and make a waterfall.

He also enjoyed the new exhibit in the temporary display area.  The last time we were there it was a sand area with dinosaur bones to dig up.  This time it was set up with all kinds of space equipment.  Trey dressed up like an astronaut and flew a rocket to space.  Once he was there he could drive a little moon buggy or work in the space station.

Overall we had a great day at the Children's Museum.  Maybe one day we'll go back with Chas and he can finally see what fun we've been having there.
