Something New to Do

Sunday we decided to find something new to do around town.  I knew there were some waterfalls close by so I did a little googling and found us some new parks to visit.  First we made a stop at Brandywine Falls.  I couldn't believe how close these falls were to the parking lot.  We could hear them the minute we stepped out of the car.

On our way back up to the car Trey & Chas stopped to check out a little cave.

After seeing the falls we headed off to see Richie's Ledges.  Before hiking down the ledges we enjoyed a picnic lunch.

Trey had a great time hiking through the rocks. 

Xavier loved being able to see all the new sights around him - he loves looking at trees!

One of the coolest (literally) parts we found on our hike was Ice Box Cave.  It was so nice and cold inside that cave - it was like nature's air conditioning after the sticky hike down to that point.

This is definitely a new favorite place for us and we're excited to come back and do a little more hiking and exploring in the future.
