A Day at Busch Gardens

After a hot day touring DC on Saturday we woke up Sunday morning and finished driving to our final destination: Williamsburg, Virginia.  We went straight to Busch Gardens to begin our week of fun.  Xavier had a great time watching the roller coasters.

After lots of riding we stopped for some lunch in Germany.

After a few hours at Busch Gardens we checked into our condo for the week and got a good night of sleep for another fun-filled day the next day.   Gam Gam and Papa got to see Busch Gardens for the first time on Monday.  They took Trey on the roller coaster, the Elmo Jumper, and Oscar's Whirly Worms.  Trey loved showing them all his favorite rides.

After an exciting morning of riding roller coasters we stopped for a picnic lunch and headed back into Busch Gardens.

We were planning on staying for fireworks but the rain had another plan...

After we hunkered down in the Festhaus to wait for the rain to let up we left Busch Gardens for the night and decided to try for fireworks another night.  We had a great first full day of vacation and couldn't wait to have another day of fun the next day!
